We will keep your name anonymous should you  desire.   The USS Passaic test firing into the Palisades on the Hudson River near Fort Lee, NJ in Nov 1862. This created a Panic along on the Palisades as many resident, unaware of any Naval gun test firing, thought the Confederate Navy was sailing up the Hudson and shelling New York City and New Jersey, This NJ story is featured in both New Jersey’s Civil War Odyssey  and Garden State Legacy
