Civil War Round Tables are locally based organizations dedicated to the study and discussion of the events surrounding the Civil War and the preservation of artifacts and sites associated with the war. Round Tables usually meet monthly to hear guest speakers on a variety of Civil War topics, and often conduct tours to Civil War related sites and hold seminars on the war. Some Round Tables award college scholarships and other awards and maintain museums and libraries.
